Big Fish: The Movie
Big Fish (the film) has been one of my favourite movies since I first saw it when I was younger. The movie was beautiful, the story, the characters, and the emotion all together definitely makes a masterpiece. Big Fish taught me that to live a full life you can't just sit back and pray with all of your entirety that just maybe you'll get your soul mate, have your dream job handed to you, and just end up successful. It showed me you have to go out and get the things you want in life and to live life the fullest in the best way possible. The courage Edward Bloom had was inspirational, when he was being beat with a terminal illness he wouldn't just let go, he fought for his life. I loved when he looked at Sandra time stopped, love is beautiful and inexpiable, and why explain it when you could show how it feels. You hear stories of couples stumbling on words trying to explain the feeling they got when they knew they found the love of their life. Love was portrayed wonderfully. A scene that most definitely stole my heart was the field of daffodils Edward planted for Sandra, for no other reason than I found it undeniably adorable, could you imagine a person going through those lengths to prove their love to you? The movie helped with getting into character because it showed the era, what people wore in that time frame, and most importantly what they sounded like. Watching big fish helped me with my accent for sure, it's exactly what is needed for the show. As said before I adore the movie Big Fish and I can most definitely say it's worth the watch!
